Annexin (ANN) is a member of a diverse, multigene family of calcium-dependent transporters. There are eight annexins in arabidopsis: ANN1 (AT1G35720), ANN2 (AT5G65020), ANN3 (AT2G38760), ANN4 (AT2G38750), ANN5 (AT1G68090), ANN6 (AT5G10220), ANN7 (AT5G10230), ANN8 (AT5G12380).
