In Arabidopsis thaliana, a family of six genes (ACBP1 (AT5G53470), ACBP2 (AT4G27780), ACBP3 (AT4G24230), ACBP4 (AT3G05420), ACBP5 (AT5G27630), ACBP6 (AT1G31812))encodes acyl-CoA binding proteins (ACBPs). The expression of Arabidopsis ACBP3 is affected by light/dark cycling and is developmentally regulated in rosette leaves.
