Background:

CP33 is one of chloroplast RNA-binding proteins which could be involved in splicing and/or processing of chloroplast RNAs. In Arabidopsis thaliana, there are three similar chloroplast RNA binding proteins: cp29 (AT3G53460), cp31 (AT4G24770) and cp33 (AT3G52380).
